A hiatus halted. Vyv’s golden adventures continue! 💛

As I’m sure some writers can relate, life stands in the way of doing what we love at times. Between all the freelance work, other ventures, hardships, etc., it’s seems easy for inspiration to be leeched from me or at the very least hindered. On top of that, for a long while, I thought I had lost the full outline of the novel, as well as some crucial notes 😱. Needless to say, that really took a lot out of me, and I lost both hope and motivation. But guess what I found today?! The outline, the notes, and thus my motivation! So now, I’ll be doing what I’ve been meaning to do… Complete the book… in its entirety. In the meantime, I’ll be sure to post some new excerpts because I can’t stand how much e-dust this blog has accumulated. Yuck!

Anyway, thank you for your patience everybody 💛! Especially to those who have read book 1 and were wondering when the heck a book 2 would be coming out. My previous post mentions why I opted for a novel as opposed to a series. But either way, my apologies for the much-too-long hiatus. During that stint, I wound up writing a coming-of-age novel entitled Lunnah, and I’m so glad I did. I feel like my writing has gotten notably better. This means I’ll really putting my best foot forward when finishing up this novel, which instead of self-publishing, I’ll be traditionally publishing. This may take a while. 😅

SABL: Full-length Novel!

This SABL blog page hasn’t been updated in ages! D: Mostly because I’ve been keeping busy with tons of freelance work and my recent venture, Health Mastery Movement.

Anyway, here’s a much-needed update: I’ve decided (after some trial and error—okay A LOT), that a fantasy book (SABL, at least) is meant to be one novel. So instead of making a shorter book 2, book 3, and so on, I’m just going to combine everything and make one long edition. This will certainly take more time, but it’s something I have wanted to do for as long as I can remember.

This also will cut the costs for my lovely readers. Instead of buying 3 or more books, it’ll just be one. Now, I know a lot of you have already purchased Book 1, so I’ll be giving an exclusive discount to you folks once Sought After Blood Lines (the novel) is available.

Until this becomes a reality, feel free to cruise around the blog to read various excerpts and teasers. There are plenty of them!

Thanks for tuning in. 😉

Golden Regards,
Eva

Sought After Blood Lines – Excerpt XIII

cosmion-interpretation

Excerpt from Chapter 13: The Kingdom of Hrissa

“This is my companion creature, Solace. It’s a Cosmion. You can say it’s the peacekeeper of this place.” She got on top of Solace’s back. “There’s plenty of room up here. Hop on. As long as you stay clear of its mane, you’ll be fine.”

    Leonelle remained petrified.

Vyvianna held out her hand. “Don’t leave me hanging.”

    He grasped it.

    “Good. Now, go up first.”

    Leonelle refused to let go.

Excerpt from Chapter 6: Discovery

“…There’s that enchanted barrier throughout all of Eternicca. If we try to cross over, we might get killed. You speak like you’ve forgotten,” Vyvianna said.

“Have faith. I’m here to protect you, Vyvianna.” Leonelle responded. “It’s not like you need a knight in golden armor, but still. We’re in this together.”

“You’re right, I don’t. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want one.”

“Are you saying that you like me?” Leonelle grinned.

“I don’t need to answer that.”

Sought After Blood Lines – Excerpt XI

Excerpt from Chapter 6: Discovery

“Rito. That one dresser drawer is locked,” Haizar said, attempting to force it open.

“Get out of the way.” Rito took his sword out and broke the lock with it. When he pulled it open, both men gawked at the sheen.

“Jars of gold?” they both said in unison.

“Rito, take one with you. The King must see this.”

“But it’s Vyvianna. No. We can’t show the King. She’s a nice girl. He’ll ruin her.”

“We must or you know he will have our heads. I want to remain a favored knight of his.”

Rito still refused to take a jar with him.
