What Do You Prefer?

1. Paperback/Hardcover all the way!

2. E-book/Kindle/PDF.

3. Neither. I don’t like books.

4. I can’t decide! Both?

5. If I like the book enough, I’ll get both versions.

…I’m a 1. πŸ™‚

  1. Print books. Always. My eyes are bad enough and I spend plenty of time working at my computer as a writer that I don’t want to keep staring at a screen when I’m reading for fun. :p Plus, the battery will never run out.

  3. I like both Print and ebooks but unfortunately since we never seem to stay in the same country for more than a yr or so I have to make do with ebooks. I can’t be toting physical copies back and forth so its a matter of convenience. I do own a lot of hard copies which I have at my permanent address but I haven’t bought a lot of these in recent times.

    • Cathleen, I know what you mean! The experience of reading words on a page vs. a screen is drastically different. But the instant gratification of receiving that book once you click that ‘buy’ button is a definite plus. ^_^

  4. I’d say 1 because although ebooks are convenient and easy to access, hardcovers and paperbacks have the real feel of a book. It really feels like you are reading something from a different world, as opposed to reading from a screen. I prefer my screen time to be limited to blogging, YouTube, music and other random things on the internet. And just the word, “reading”, brings up a picture of a hardcover πŸ™‚
